  The HBO special from a secular media viewpoint was flawed.  It tried to tie brain chemistry that effects the way humans react to hyper suggestion in faith healing meetings thinking they are healed when they are just hopped up on chemistry (which is true) to human evolutionary development (which is false).  This type of flaw made it possible for Benny Hinn and Reinhard Bonnke to excuse themselves and poke holes in the HBO special on the basis that they were investigated by unbelievers.  The problem is that the truth of the shows far outweighed the false assumptions.  It showed many people who Hinn and Bonnke claimed were healed who were not.  It showed a number of unethical practices
